The day was celebrated with the theme ‘ I am Generation Equality: Realising Women’s Rights.   On the days like these challenges and prospects are discussed to champion the cause of women. The year 2020 celebration is 25 th in the series highlighted a lot of challenges facing women socially, economically and politically. One area that stakeholders agreed that will make a difference in improving the lives of women, is Agriculture. In the field of agriculture, women constitute 60 to 80 per cent of the agricultural labour force in developing countries but don’t enjoy the fruit of their labour.
