On the days like these challenges and prospects are discussed to champion the cause of women. The year 2020 celebration is 25 th in the series highlighted a lot of challenges facing women socially, economically and politically. One area that stakeholders agreed that will make a difference in improving the lives of women, is Agriculture. In the field of agriculture, women constitute 60 to 80 per cent of the agricultural labour force in developing countries but don’t enjoy the fruit of their labour. According to the federal ministry of agriculture and rural development, women account for 75 per cent of the farming population in Nigeria, but formal and traditional rules hindered their possibilities to benefit more on the sector. Trees help us to grow a good health, sound economy and protect us from the challenges of climate change and dessert encroachment. Millions of trees are being fallen every day for human use like cooking or furnisher designs among others. By this growing demand trees are fallen with a replacement. Even though, most of the perpetrators are aware on the slogan CUT ONE PLANT THREE yet they ignore and continue to wrong this generation and next.
